Je suis mort dans tes bras ce soir. I keep looking for something I can′t get. I keep looking for something I can′t get. Koichi nodded, letting Rokuro’s head fall gently onto the couch as he got up and moved to the other side. Kazuho grabbed Koichi’s face and kissed his lips as he sat down, straddling Rokuro. Koichi kissed back, wrapping his arms around her waist and giving her ass a squeeze. Kazuho giggled into his mouth before pulling away. 🤨 In Your Arms Tonight / Tear Jerker TV Tropes [Review] In Your Arms Tonight: Koichi Natsukawa - Main Story So I decided to give the cheating husband a try! Farmer Abby, aka, me, here with my second review! Koichi from In Your Arms Tonight. Let’s get this.(I saved this picture in my laptop as ‘ Spoiler alert to how I feel about this special, special character.)The MC of this story is a 31 year old interior designer, uh, wannabe interior designer. I guess. You are pressured by your parents that it's about time to be settling down with a husband and start a family. So, to appease them, you go on an arranged date with a businessman. By the name of Koichi Natsukawa. He seems like a nice enough guy at first. He buys you new shoes when the heel snaps on your’s, he tries his best with kids, he has a stable job. Though he doesn’t open up to you much, Koichi treats you as a gentleman would. And, in a few short months, the two of you get hitched.(Only Eli oppa can express the MC’s feelings towards designing of the interior.)Alright, I’ll give a hand to this MC, she is significantly better than other MCs that I’ve played. In this route, she is patient (like woah, is she understanding!), hardworking (wanting to keep her job, even though her mother-in-law pesters her like a fly to quit.), and is pretty like most MCs, she is unsure of herself and a bit too kind for her own good. And, was it me, or did anyone else think she was kind of loose? She sleeps with Koichi in chapter 15, I think, maybe earlier? I remember feeling like they had a lot more to discuss about their relationship and their feelings before they started anything physical.(Who knows? When you’re ready, you’re ready. Koichi is a pervert too.)Koichi’s job keeps him busy. Like, him stepping out on your wedding night, because of his… job. Him coming home late, because of his… job. Sleeping in separate rooms, because of his… job. Not wearing his wedding ring, because of his… job?Eventually, to your not surprise, you find out that Koichi has another woman!(The lovely girl in the flesh, Ai. She tots bitch slaps you later in the story. Also, Ai happens to be the wife of his boss. Very clever, Koichi. Oh, wait!)You confront your dear hubby about his misdeeds. And his reasoning…My reaction can only be summed up in two short you want to try and salvage the marriage you have, so you attempt to get Koichi to leave his mistress and live a happy life with you. This is where my respect really shows for the MC. While she has at least two men wooing her at all times in the story, she never once thinks about cheating on Koichi in retaliation. She stays calm and collected, only losing her cool once. The MC makes an effort to forgive and forget her slimy husband’s sins. I think it’s sweet. Look at what she says after she accidentally hits Koichi with a rock because she thought he was a bear. I would do the same thing if I was lost in the woods, but if the rock I threw just happened to hit my cheating husband in the face, you know, I would just call it a when Koichi tries to take her hand…You guys wanna know what she is like?Man, it was be honest here, Koichi ruined me. I took his two-timing so personally. I found myself wondering if it was something I did or said, is it the way I look, what does that slut Ai have that I don’t? He really broke my heart. That is probably why, when he asks for your support and love, close to the end I was like,I mean, I’m happy he didn’t lead you on, or try to sleep with you when you were in the dark about the adultery thing, but, what can you expect when you made me go from this,To this,The ENTIRE I would recommend Koichi’s story. Only for the changes in him that happen throughout the story. At first, Koichi is cold and detached from you, giving absolutely no F’s if you know about Ai and him, and tells you, to your face, that he does not, and will not, love you, only viewing your marriage as a transaction. A give and take. A trade. A bargain. Slowly and slowly, his life comes crumbling down. His company finds out about the affair, he gets demoted, his father has a heart attack, his mother forces him to quit his job. The calculating man that you once knew now looks like a pathetic puppy, beaten down by life. And that makes me feel slightly better.(I swear, whenever I eat kale I turn into such a bitch.)- Farmer Abby I finished Kippei's story 2 days ago, honestly i like him more than i thought I would. From the beginning I thought Kippei was just going to be one of the characters that were just like hm whatever. But no, i really enjoyed his story :) I watched it on youtube from Yuriko Ai: CGs at: Kippei at first seems like a workaholic, he even admits to the MC that work is all he has (I think), but he's actaully really sweet, caring, and he has so many adorable moments. Kippei is my favorite character so far, but i've only seen his, just finished Genji's, and watched some of Koichi's, so I can't say for sure yet. But he really is cute, Kippei. ~~SPOILERS YAYAYAYAY~~ *I'm writing all this from memory* The story starts off with the MC still married to Koichi, she hasn't even talked to him about seeing him with another woman (really MC? really? -__-) The MC is still scared of Kippei, and he yells at her when she comes in late because Koichi calls her when she's on her way to work to tell her to bring his keys (?) to his office place because he forgot, making her really late. it doesn't help when she gets paired up with him to work on a preschool. So yeah, they work on the new assignment together and the MC sees a side to Kippei that she didn't know existed, and how he's really serious about his work. Sometime later they go on a business trip to check out some furniture for the preschool. A typhoon hits so they're forced to stay in a closed inn in the town. A tree falls into the MC's room so she has to share a room with Kippei, and of course she freaks out. He starts drinking then falls asleep, and this is where she learns about his brother because he murmured it in his sleep. The day she gets back, with no sleep, she goes to work and then has to entertain her in-laws and the mother starts being the b*tch she is and tells the MC to hurry up and quit her job to take care of the house (I hate the mother-in-law so much. No matter in which story, I hate her. She is so old fashioned, pushy, and has such an attitude.) The father-in-law is wondering when they're going to have a child.... uh no. Afterwards, some days later after they visit the preschool again. Afterwards they part ways but the MC being the stalker she is hahaha, follows Kippei and he goes into the bar. Here she learns about his brother and his past. His parents had died in an accident, so him and his brother went to go live at their uncle's house. His brother was apparently really smart, but didn't go to college and went to work right after high school and taking Kippei out of their uncle's house and taking care of him, paying his school expenses and everything. It turns out that his brother was the one who wanted them to go into interior designing together. Right when they were going to start their big plan, Kippei's brother dies from cancer i think and dies. Then the MC tells Kippei why she's still trying to make things work with Koichi, because of her parents. She doesn't want to worry them or something like that. Afterwards they go to park and that basically told each other that they're special to one another. Kippei says that the MC is the only one who goes heads-on with him and that being with her really throws him off. The MC says that at first she was scared of him too but eventually saw him as a really warm person. It starts raining (ugh something always has to interrupt). They run to a hotel where there are a bunch of taxis i think and Kippei leaves. As she is waiting, the MC sees the woman that she saw Koichi with that day she found out he was cheating, and she sees Koichi. She asks him why he's here and he says he entertaining clients (entertaining clients my butt!!) No wait, i don't think Kippei left. I think he went to go call a taxi but after the MC runs into Koichi she runs out of the hotel. Kippei catches up to her and she's a mess. She's basicaly on the verge of tears and she tells him to leave her alone, but of course he doesn't and she falls (How embarrassing, i feel bad for her :( ) She then starts talking about how stupid she is while Kippei is trying to get her to go inside before she catches pneumonia and she says that she'll just stay outside, catch pneumonia, and die. Kippei then yells at her because his brother didn't want to die, but he did, and now she's talking about wanting to die. And then Kippei tells her to stay with him, yes in that way eeeekkk! And this is the first time where he tells her to serperate from her husband already. Yes, the first time, meaning that he says it later on too ^^. And they kiss!!! He then takes her to his house because she doesn't want to go home. This is the first time you see Kippei's hair not did :). She spends the night there, then the next day they go out and act like a newlywed couple, so cute. They eat at a restaraunt for lunch i think and they start talking about flowers. He asks the MC which flowers she likes and you make a choice (choose dogwood). He then asks the MC if she knows what the meaning of dogwoods are, they mean "accept my feelings". (This reminded me of Love Letter From Thief X because Riki said the same thing when i watched his story) This eventually proves to be very important later on. I think they go out for a walk and then the MC's mom calls and ruins the date -__-. The MC goes home and her mom is already there. So it's just the MC, Koichi, and the MC's mom. Pulling on the stupid good husband act, Koichi worriedly asks where the MC went and just ugh. He says that he was calling her but she never picked up. (Lies! I think ... i remember a time where he really was calling her but she was ignoring him.. it might've been this time .. or a different time) Koichi steps out for a minute becasue he gets a call i think. Then the MC's mother asks her if she's happy Koichi, asking all suspiciously. The MC lies of course. After the MC's mother leaves, the MC decides to forget about Kippei and trys once again to make things between her and Koichi work. They eat dinner together and she finally asks him about that woman. He says that she's just for amusement (You really didn't help out your case there bud -_-) And he goes on to say that every guy does that even his dad and her dad. He says that it's nothing to worry about. Then he goes on into his signature definition of marriage; marriage is just a comphromise between two people and that it's supposed to benefeit both sides... really? He says this in his story too. Then after she takes a shower, he has the nerve to say to her, "come into my room" "I think it's time we start thinking about children." (asdfghjkl; i want to hurt you so bad) She refuses and goes into her room. Then she starts thinking about Kippei but convinces herself it'll never work out. Then the next few days Koichi starts acting .. nicer. So the day after he tried getting her into the bedroom, the MC starts getting fidgety at work around Kippei. He then sends her a text asking if she's free tonight. She ignores it. Then hey go check out the site where she's working on a book cafe. Afterwards she tells him that it was a mistake for her to spend the night at his house the other say because she's married. Then Kippei starts acting cute and asks "is there no room for me?" AND HUGS HER! Ah, Kippei, you're so cute. This is the second time where he asks her to separate from her husband. She pushes him away and then he leaves, sad moment :'(. So as i said before Koichi's been nicer for some reason ... (I'm still not sure why. I thought it was all just an act it would seem like they were being a good family, but by the end i started wondering if he really did try to make things work too. Nah, he changed too much too fast, it's impossible) So he brings her home from work one day, as they're walking a care comes and she pushes Koichi out of the way (Nooo, why you do that, you should've let him get killed >:( ) She then ends up in the hospital with some memories a little fuzzy, a lot of it being about Kippei. She notices dogwoods in her hospital room and asks her mom if she brought them, and her mom says no, it was probably Koichi. And she actually somewhat believed her (Nooo, why you forget?) She then remembers about Kippei and her talking about flowers and him asking what her favorites were but she forgets what she answered back (Dogwoods!!!) She goes to sleep then the next day there are daisies in her room and she asks Koichi who brought them and he says he did. The MC is allowed to walk outside now and she goes into the courtyard and looks at the flowers. She gets a call from her friend Akiko who also works in the same company as her and she finds out that Koichi restricted visits from her co workers. That night she asks Koichi and Koichi says that he wanted to be alone with his wife and there she goes saying stuff like that. Then he tells her he wants her to quit her job when she gets out of the hospital. She wakes up the next morning and she reconize's Kippei's scent. She overhears Koichi and Kippei talking, Koichi is pretending to be a protective husband and asks who Kippei is and if he's been the one bringing in flowers this entire time. He said yes, and Koichi asks what kind of relationship he has with the MC. Kippei answers that she is a very important employee to him. Then the MC gets all depressed thinking that's all he thinks of her as (She annoyed me here. He's obviously not going to say what he really thinks to your husband, that would've caused problems! Think a little about his side.) Being all depressed, the MC doesn't eat. Koichi brings in some flowers and the MC asks if he knows what they mean, then Koichi asks if it's becasue of 'him'. She starts crying and then Kippei rushes in (Awwww, he came in so abruptly and in a hurry, messy hair suit and everything.) Kippei says that Koichi told him that her condition had worsened so he rushed over. Obvious lie from Koichi. Koichi says that the MC wants to talk about the future and that they (Kippei and the MC) should go talk in the courtyard. As they talk the Mc asks how work has been and all that stuff. She tells him that she's planning on quitting after she is discharged even though she's in the middle of a couple of projects. Kippei yells and says he won't allow her to quit. She says that it's inexusable to abandon her projects but she loves him. She finally says it, yay. But again she brings up the fact of her parents and that she doesn't want to burden them or something. The MC then brings up that she knows that she's just an employee to him. Kippei can't take it anymore and picks her up and brings her back to her room and confronts Koichi. Kippei asks for Koichi to seperate from the MC. He knows that he said that the MC was just an employee to him but he akes full responsibilty for the way things have been up until now. Koichi asks if Kippei can make the MC happier than he could (At first i thought Koichi was saying this in a superior condescending voice, but he wasn't) Koichi smiles and says he knew this would happen and tells Kippei to make the MC happy. Then he leaves the hospital room. Yay happy happy happy. The MC says she won't quit and that her parents won't be happy, but Kippei says he'll protect her (i think). She gets discharged, divorce papers are being worked on, she goes back to work and everything is like normal again. The MC, Kippei, Akiko, Aiba, and Nanami (coworkers) go out for drinks to celebrate the MC being discharged. She gets a call from her mom saying that her dad is still mad. Her mom tells her she (mom) saw the MC in the park with a man (Kippei) and that she looked really happy. Her mom tells her to be happy this time. Afterwards she goes back to Kippei's house. He lets her sleep in the guest room (if he has one, if not then shes sleeping in his room while hes going to sleep on the sofa). Kippei says he can't hold himself back anymore and he tells the MC to call him Kippei when they're alone (this enire time she's been calling him She says she can't, but then Kippei says that he won't stop until she does and when she does he starts again saying that he can't stop now when she's finally called his name (AHHHHHHHHHHH ASDFGHJKL; too cute) He then gives her a hickey.... saying that he can't trust if Aiba would not do anything to her, showing off his jealous and protective side, too cute. The main story basically ends off here. But there is an epilogue yaaaaay. Epilogue: Since i wrote so much for the main story i think i'm going to try to keep the epilogue short. There's three chapters. So the MC is now divorced but she still lives in her old house because it's convenient. The MC and Kippei are a lovely couple now. Rumors are going on about how the MC is now the Kippei right after her divorce making her look bad. The MC wants to keep their relationship a secret but Kippei doesn't care what the others think. He and the MC go check out the nearly finished book cafe the MC's been working on. Afterwards the MC and Akiko go out for drinks and invite Aiba. Akiko goes to the bathroom and Aiba confesses to the MC. The MC is shocked but she decides its better not to tell Kippei after they said that they shouldn't hide anything from each other. The MC goes home and Kippei stops by, but only for a little while and embraces her saying it's nice to hold her like this. Then Kippei suggests they go on a date and leaves the location to the MC. The next day Kippei makes Aiba take his place in the preschool project because he's busy now. Aiba tells her there are rumors going on about Kippei being transferred. She believes it and wonders why Kippei hasn't told her. Even at the end it doesn't tell us if he really is being transferred or not. The MC has been acting awkward around Aiba all day and he confronts her and tells her just to forget what he said from yesterday. Kippei texts her and asks her if shes free tonight and this time she replies and they go to the bar after work. The MC is still acting weird and Kippei asks if she's hiding anything from him, and she still doesn't tell him anything about the confession. Then Kiyoto (another guy that you can play that works at the bar) comes and lets out about the confession, always causing trouble lol. Kippei asks if it's true and she kind of tries explaining it and he says in an angry voice that she should've told him last night or today, but why didn't she? People start looking and he and the MC leave and go to the park. Kippei is calmer now and asking about the confession and the MC explains. Kippei says her punishment is that she has to go on a date with him tomorrow then. The MC is then like i thought the date was after the book cafe was done and Kippei says that he can't wait anymore. The MC is still wondering if she's forgiven. The day of the day aka the next day Kippei is driving her somewhere and it's revelaed that both of them went to see the phantom of the opera about 10 years ago in .. london? i think thats where it was. They stop by the sea take a small walk. They take a break and are sitting on the beach all alone, and it's quiet. And the MC is wondering if she's really forgiven. They were fine in the car but right now there's no conversation going on. She apoligizes about yesterday again and Kippei just tells her to forget it saying that he's not upset. Then they try to go find some place to eat. The MC is also wondering why he won't open up to her and it's really bothering her. Instead of going to a restaraunt or anything, Kippei takes her to an inn. Kippei suggests they go in the open air bath together and the MC is embarassed and she doesn't want to do it. Then Kippei says that it's part of her punishment so she has to. The MC is still trying to get out of it so she asks wasn't Kippei hungry and after some persuading she gets Kippei to eat first before going into the bath. After They're done eating they go out into the courtyard and look at the beauty and start talking about how they don't get to see this in Tokyo becasue everyone is always in a hurry. Kippei says that honestly he's not one to talk because if it weren't for the MC he would've gone through life in a hurry too and not noticed many things. They then return to their room and the MC thinks that she's gotten out of going into the bath together with Kippei, well she was wrong. When they're in the bath, Kippei asks why she's being shy and that she should come closer. He tease her a little and she apoligizes about the thing with Aiba again. He says he's not upset about that and that he's actually upset at himself because he feels that the MC couldn't come to him because she felt like she couldn't because of the way he was. He felt like he was someone that she couldn't depend on like he's not good enough yet. He says that he knows she must've gotten some trouble because of the rumors about them going on. She doesn't deny it and it's all the more reason why he says he feels like he's not dependable. The MC said that she doesn't know how to depend on others anymore or say how she really feels ever since her marriage and divorce. During her marriage she had to keep all her feelings bottled up so she doesn't know how to depend on others anymore. Kippei then embraces her and says: Kippei wants the one to be pampering the MC (so cute! .< Next I think I'm going to do Ryoichi's from Seduced in a Sleepless Citty. I was originally gonna write about Genji's story next, but then i remembered that i finished Ryoichi's story before I finished Riki's, so i should get that out of the way first. Ugh this took me 3 hours to write. Time to go back and do Riki's now ugh damn you OCD! In Shohei Aiba's Another Story route, the protagonist makes a movie date with Koichi only for him to cancel on her at the last minute when she's already at the theater. When Aiba hears about this, he hurries to join her, claiming he finished his work sooner than he'd expected, and the two of them spend a pleasant evening seeing a movie and having dinner. It's only when they part that the protagonist realizes Aiba's going back to the office to finish all of the work he'd put on hold so that she wouldn't spend the evening alone and feeling down about being stood up. Later in Aiba's Another Story, the protagonist finally gets the chance to return the favor: she has a dinner date with Koichi, but because of a critical mistake on his part Aiba is stuck at the office pulling an all-nighter to try to correct the error. Faced with the choice between supporting her colleague or trying to build her relationship with her husband, the protagonist calls Koichi and tells him that something has come up for work, and goes back to the office to help Aiba. When Aiba tries to protest, she counters by asking if that means he's fine with her not accepting his help any more, and pointing out that their working partnership is a two-way street. At the end of Ebihara's route, the protagonist is in hospital after being hit by a car, and her unconscious mind has no defense against the despair that's been piling up over the past several months. The protagonist's dreams are haunted by images of Koichi, her parents and her in-laws, all making her decisions for her with no consideration for her feelings. Just when she's questioning whether anyone ever sees her at all, a new voice assures her that he does:Protagonist: (Thank goodness... You can hear me, right?) ???: Yeah, I hear you. Protagonist: (I'm glad... I was afraid I was alone.) ???: Don't worry. I'm with you. I'm on your side. Always. Later, we find out that Ebihara has been sneaking into the protagonist's hospital room at night to bring her flowers. The above conversation probably really did happen.
